(Arkadaşlar, bazı sitelerde WordPrexy.com hakkında yanlış anlaşılmalar var. Bu yazı, bunlara cevap vermek nedeniyle, İngilizce. Okuyabilen okuyamayana anlatsın.

As opposed to some conclusions, we are not “scam artists” or “thieves” –we hate plagiarism as much as the next guy. And plagiarism is NOT what we do at WordPrexy.com.
What we do at WordPrexy.com is basically offer an easy to use proxy service to bypass the blocking of WordPress.com in Turkey. What we don’t do is copy your content and serve it as ours, or host it on our servers. We have neither the capacity nor the financial sources to do so.
Yes, Google -sometimes- indexes your posts on WordPrexy.com higher than on WordPress.com. We have no idea why; it’s not intentional.
Yes, we have Google Ads on WordPrexy.com. Only because the reasons I mentioned earlier: we just don’t have enough resources.
We like WordPress. We use WordPress. We support WordPress. We wouldn’t want to hurt the Automattic, Inc. guys, or their users and customers. And that is why we set up WordPrexy.com, because we don’t want WordPress to get hurt by our crooked legal system. If WordPress gets back online in Turkey, we’re out.
I think it’s time we put this in English too, so here goes nothing:
Disclaimer: WordPrexy is a WordPress-specific proxy server. It only mirrors the content; it does neither copy nor host any of the actual content found on WordPress.com. WordPrexy.com is not responsible from the material and content found in it’s sites and cannot be held liable for them.
So there you have it… If you have anymore questions, just leave a comment…
PS: If you want your site removed from wordprexy.com, just drop us a line… (Removal requests written as comments to this post will not be taken into acccount.)
EDIT (19.09.2007): We are getting lots of threats and bad words. For those of you who are firing up their mail clients to curse at us, let me say this: Every other proxy site puts ads. Some of them even have those talking smiley thingies. But hear this: As long as we don’t get a huge donation to cover our bandwidth costs, the ads stay there.
EDIT (21.09.2007): Some people still don’t understand what a proxy is. There are mails from WordPress users who are using the application on their own hosts. There are mails saying that we are going to burn in hell for stealing their material. I am anouncing now that we are going to use the money from the AdSense to have those people admitted to special facilities for people with IQ’s of below 50.
Nah, just kidding. They’ll have to deal with their retardedness themselves. But hear this: we are going to keep the AdSense ads until it reaches 100$, since we can’t get the money before that, we will cash the money, and donate it to an opensource project. When we get closer to the goal, more will be anounced.
EDIT (22.09.2007): No more AdSense, and a robots.txt file to block all search engines. So what do we do with the 27$ that we will never get and be able to donate anywhere? Who knows… Maybe we’ll leave it to Google; maybe one day, that 27$ will save their lives.
EDIT (23.09.2007): We now have a donation link in the navigation bar! We would appreciate any amount of donation. Thanks in advance to all who are donating.
